It matures in steel and spends a year in large oak barrels and tonneaux. This prevents the wood from influencing the aroma of the Pinot Noir but gives it more structure and roundness. It ages in the bottle for several years before being released for sale and during this time the flavours of the wine are amalgamated. A wine that dislikes haste, it demands time to be tasted, to express its vintage to the full.

Pinot Nero.

Color

Brilliant ruby red tending to garnet reflections upon aging.

Bouquet

Hints of enticing mature small wild red berry fruits like cherry, bitter cherry, floral notes of rose hips and spices upon opening like vanilla and intense licorice.

Taste

Warm and harmonious, soft sensations due to elegant but decisive tannins. Good structure and persistence predict a fascinating evolution of the wine.
